Q What is the best method of personalising garments?
A Depending on the use of the garment required we would make the following recommendations. Embroidery is in most circumstances the most durable option and is ideal for logos and should be used on corporate clothing and polo shirts. Screen Printing and Flexi Printing is great on T-Shirts and Jerseys and for large quantities is the cheaper option.
Q If I Place an order for Clothing how long will it take before I receive my order?
A If your clothing or footwear does not require personalisation your order will be despatched within 72hrs. It could be despatched earlier but if the item is not a stock item we require up to 72hrs
If your order includes personalised clothing the typical deliver time is between 7-10 working days
Q Will I receive a proof of my logo?
A Yes, Impress email you a digital proof of your logo embroidered on your material. If you require an embroidered swatch of your order Impress will send it within 2-3 days of requesting one. However we will charge you 10 regardless of whether you proceed with your order or not.
Q Will Impress provide samples of clothing before I proceed with my Order?
A Impress would be happy to provide samples however you will be charged for all samples if you do not proceed with an order
Q How much is it to embroider?
A The cost of embroidery is based on how many stitches it takes to replicate a logo, message et. The average embroidered logo is is under 7000 stitches. The cost for 7000 stitches (regardless of the colours involved) is 3.00 per garment. The price quoted is for 25+ garments and the cost will increase on smaller volumes. A disk and artwork charge may apply. However before finally committing to an embroidery price, Impress would need to see a copy of the logo/motif etc to be embroidered.

Q What are the different Standards/Protection Levels with regards to Respiratory Protection
A: FFP1: Disposable particulate respirators are approved for use against solid and liquid aerosols according to EN149:2001. They are suitable for protection from non-toxic harmful materials in concentrations up to 4xOEL or 4xAPF. Recommended applications : textile industry, craft work, iron and steel industry, mining, underground civil engineering and woodworking (except hardwood) ..etc. FFP1 respirators can provide protection against solid and liquid aerosols containing the following materials such as : calcium carbonate, china clay, cement, cellulose, sulfur, cotton, flour, carbon, ferrous metals, vegetable oils and soft wood.
FFP2: Disposable particulate respirators are approved for use against solid and liquid aerosols according to EN149:2001. They are suitable to protect against low-to-average toxicity harmful materials in concentrations up to 12 x OEL, or 10 x APF. Recommended applications: textile industry, craft work, iron and steel industry, mining, underground civil engineering, woodworking, welding work, cutting and casting of metals, hospital, laboratory and disease control ..etc. FFP2 respirators can provide protection against solid and liquid aerosols and smoke containing the following materials such as : calcium carbonate, china clay, cement, cellulose, sulfur, cotton, flour, carbon, ferrous metals, hardwood, silicon, plastic, vegetable oils and mineral oils, quartz, copper, aluminum, bacteria, fungi and mycobacterium tuberculosis (T.B.).
FFP3: Disposable particulate respirators are approved for use against solid and liquid aerosols according to EN149:2001. They are suitable for protection against high toxicity harmful materials in concentrations up to 50xOEL or 20xAPF. Recommended applications: textile industry, craft work, iron and steel industry, mining, underground civil engineering, woodworking, welding work, cutting and casting of metals, hospital, laboratory and disease control, pharmaceutical industry, disposal of toxic waste, manufacture of batteries (Ni-Cad) …etc. FFP3 respirators can provide protection against solid and liquid aerosols and smoke containing the following materials such as : calcium carbonate, china clay, cement, cellulose, sulfur, cotton, flour, carbon, ferrous metals, hardwood, silicon, plastic, vegetable oils and mineral oils, copper, aluminum, bacteria, fungi and mycobacterium tuberculosis (T.B.), chromium, manganese, nickel, platinum, strychnine, metal dust and smoke, viruses and enzymes.
